Statement:
Jorge Marredo claims that trying to sum up his work in the span of 30 minutes is like Trying To Learn Kobaïan In 15 Days;
very difficult or maybe impossible. Kobaïan is the language of Kobaïa, a
fictional planet and lyrical language created by French musician
Christian Vander. Marredo began to compose a mix of his work and, after
many attempts, was unsatisfied with the result; the problem was simply
that some of these works were from another state of searching and
creation. Instead of simply putting the work together, he began to
actually rework his own works: mixing, modifying, learning to listen to
them from another perspective, and trying to create something different.
He doesn’t know if the result is good enough. He claims that if it’s
not, you can always listen to Christian Vander’s Magma (they never let
you down).
